How edRoo works
From first profile to submitted application — a clear, step-by-step process with no guesswork, plus public visa-readiness guidance for what comes next.
- 1Build your profile
Enter your academic history, English test scores (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL), work experience, and target programs. Takes about 10 minutes.
- 2Get your competitiveness score
edRoo calculates your score against each program's published entry requirements — before you commit to an application. No surprises.
- 3Complete your checklist
Your personalised checklist shows exactly what documents and conditions you need to meet. A QEAC-certified counsellor validates your submission, and edRoo can also flag advisory visa-readiness items such as proof of funds.
- 4Submit — your way
Route your application via edRoo (we handle submission) or self-apply using the validated checklist. After that, edRoo can help you understand the next student visa steps using public guidance only. Your data is yours either way.
Common questions
- Is it free?
Yes — building your profile and seeing your competitiveness score is completely free. edRoo earns from university commission on successful enrolment, not from students.
- Do I have to submit via edRoo?
No. You can use edRoo to prepare your application, then self-apply directly to the university. The checklist and your data belong to you.
- How is my data used?
Your data is stored in Australia (Supabase Sydney region) and used only to process your application. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties without your explicit consent.
- Who validates my checklist?
Vinny, edRoo's founder and a QEAC-certified Australian education agent, reviews every application checklist before submission.
- What if my GPA is low?
Your competitiveness score will reflect this honestly. edRoo will show which programs are still within range and what improvements (if any) could strengthen your application.
- Do you give migration advice?
No. edRoo provides general Student visa guidance based on public Department of Home Affairs information, but it does not replace advice from a registered migration agent or the institution.
